Peter is a founding Director of Partrac. With over twenty years of experience in the marine survey sector, he has developed and directs all our company operations and health and safety procedures.
Peter completed an MSc in Marine Science at Plymouth University in 2001. Following a brief period of work with Fugro GEOS, he established Partrac with Sam Athey and Dr Kevin Black in 2003. Peter has been at the forefront of developing Partrac’s metocean survey capabilities. He has masterminded and directed multi-scale metocean projects, from single waverider and ADCP deployments through to large scale multi-unit deployments, including floating Lidar systems. He is also one of the world’s leading oceanographers, experienced in the acquisition of data in tidal races for the renewable energy sector.
